        Maintenance

Simple, regular cleaning. Near the sea, more often.

        Aluminum · per Cortizo

        • Frames and glass: a soft sponge with warm water and neutral soap, then rinse and dry with a cloth. Once a month.
        • Gaskets and the gap between frame and sash: vacuum the dust and lubricate hinges, handles and locks. Every six months.
        • Never use blades, scrapers, steel wool or harsh cleaners: they damage the powder coating.
        • On the seafront, clean more often. Before nearby construction work, protect the window with plastic sheeting.

        PVC · per Deceuninck

        • Remove the protective film as soon as the windows are installed: in the sun it becomes hard to remove.
        • Clean the profiles with a soft cloth.
        • Avoid lime and mortar splashes on the profile, the glass and the hardware.
        • Close the sashes without slamming and do not hang loads from the frames.
